Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance role in the 3PL logistics industry
Relevant Accounting Qualification
Cargowise experience (preferred)
Computer experience required: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Internet
Responsibilities:
Banking, Forex and Cash Management
Supervision and Management
General Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliation
Management Reporting
Ad-hoc projects
Collection of tax schedules
Preparation and reconciliation of all tax returns
Preparation for half year and year end audits, interacting with the auditors to provide information, documents and resolution to queries
Ensure that the financial controls and systems that have been implemented function satisfactorily to meet the relevant accounting standards
General accounting and administrative requirements of the company
Manage the Group wide schedule and forecast for liability insurance
Manage the relationship from a finance perspective with the operating software service provider
